I finished the Crystal Lake TV series so I figured it was time to watch this again. (I know, I know. I said no more #spooky movies, but I can’t resist)

The last time I watched this, I was a teenager at a sleepover with a bunch of friends and we took turns scaring the pants off of each other.

Friday the 13th (1980) #Watching https://letterboxd.com/imdb/tt0080761

A horror movie poster illustration for *Friday the 13th*, with a dark, stylized night scene framed by a large white-outlined silhouette shape. The background is black, and the artwork is rendered in purple, blue, and white tones. Inside the frame, a dense pine forest rises under a glowing full moon partly hidden by dark clouds. Tangled branches and undergrowth fill the foreground, and a fallen log lies near the bottom. In the center-right stands a wooden cabin with a sloped roof and a stone chimney. Five people stand together in front of the cabin: two young women on the left, a younger girl in a red top in the middle, and a young man in a white t-shirt beside an older man in a light button-up shirt with his hands in his pockets. On the right edge, a hand grips a large knife with a white blade and a red, bloodied tip, with a drop of blood falling from it. The bottom of the poster has large, jagged red letters that read "FRIDAY THE 13TH," with a small "TM" mark at the upper right of the title.
