How did I not know about this podcast until now?? Two charming queens from Toronto reviewing movies? Yes, please! tr.ee/X0E1p3ZL7… (Queen Video used to be an actual video store in my neighbourhood so we have nostalgia too!)

A brightly coloured image with a background of vertical stripes in yellow, cyan, green, magenta, red, and black, resembling a TV test pattern. Overlaid in large, bold, black, jagged letters are the words “QUEENS VIDEO,” with “QUEENS” on the top row and “VIDEO” on the bottom row. The text is slightly irregular and uneven, giving it a rough, hand-drawn appearance. The multicoloured stripes create a vibrant and contrasting backdrop for the bold black text.A streetscape featuring three storefronts. In the centre is “QUEEN VIDEO,” a video rental store with a large blue sign and bold white letters. Its glass entrance door and windows display movie posters, including one with two women embracing and another with a man in a suit. A bright yellow sign and a red neon “OPEN” sign are also visible in the window. A bicycle is parked on the sidewalk in front of the store, near a tree with bare branches. To the left is a black storefront for a Japanese restaurant called “sushi Japanese Cuisine & Bar,” which also has a red neon “OPEN” sign. To the right is a partly visible store with a white and yellow sign reading “jacob electrical.” A metal pole with a no-parking sign stands on the sidewalk, and the pavement is wet, suggesting recent rain.
