We went for dim sum and were lucky enough to see a lion dance! (I used to squeal “Lion Dance! Lion Dance” when I was little. They were my favourite thing.)

A table set with a variety of Chinese dishes, including a plate of grilled beef ribs, sweet and sour chicken, stir-fried green beans, and two steamed buns on a white plate. A bamboo steamer contains dumplings, and there is a soy sauce bottle nearby. Two cups of tea are on the table, along with a soy sauce dish, chopsticks, and a menu slip. A person is picking up a dumpling with chopsticks. A white teapot is also visible, and condiments like chili oil and sauces are in the background.Lion dancers in vibrant red and yellow costumes perform at a festive celebration. One dancer in a red lion costume and another in a yellow and blue lion costume move energetically in front of a drummer. The background features red walls with golden Chinese dragons and a sign that reads "Kung Hei Fat Choi 2026." Several people are sitting at tables in the foreground, watching the performance.A vibrant lion dance performance is taking place in a restaurant. The lion costume is adorned with bright yellow and purple fur, and intricate red and gold details. Two people operate the lion, one visible in red pants with flame patterns. A man holds a young child on his shoulders, reaching out to the lion in delight. Red lanterns hang from the ceiling, adding to the festive atmosphere. Diners are seated at tables, visibly enjoying the event.
